November 2007 - Dr. Rolfe will be returning to Afghanistan on his fourth trip over the last 5 years to continue providing dental services to the Afghan people and to establish a permanent dental facility in Kabul.

We are looking for ANY DONATIONS in music instruments that we will take to Afghanistan in November of this year (2007). All donations will go to the local children in orphanages around Kabul. All donations can be written off and tax forms will be available upon receipt.

We are looking for bulk quantity of inexpensive flutes or any inexpensive instruments you can part with. Money for the program would be ideal. Penny whistles, bamboo flutes and PVC pipe flutes are greatly desired. ~~~ Checks should be made out to    'ADRP'

Our Santa Barbara representatives, Kevin Donoho and Christine Baker, will be at the Zion Art and Flute festival this year. Along with dental supplies, clothing and equipment we would like to send a message to the people of Afghanistan that we aren't so different. The music and love we share are for ALL people.

Christine and I (and friends) are making as many flutes as we can by the ship date of July-August of this year. Plus, I want to thank everyone for all the great donations! UPDATE: We have MANY donations and MANY flutes have been made for this trip. The crates will not ship until November. But, it is really soon. Thanks to Everyone involved! What a great experience! We will put updated pictures when we have the flutes bundled and the children who will be getting them. We hope it helps some. Music can inspire and even change a person's life.
