Local Dentist Helps Afghanistan

"He says he's determined to bring life-saving dental care to the people
of Afghanistan and one Santa Barbara dentist is not letting anything
get in his way. Dr. James Rolfe made a clinic out of a metal storage
container. He's worked on the project for two years using donated equipment
and mostly his own money.

He says there's a dire need for life saving dental care in Afghanistan.
Once the clinic hits the ground, there will be other portable buildings
attached and a small dentistry school will also be developed. A team of
16 doctors from our area will be the first ones to see patients later
this Spring."
